Internal operations

Clear owners, clear deadlines — tracked in the view you prefer

Tasks with several assignees, subtasks, dependencies and recurrence, seen as a list, Kanban, Gantt, calendar, workload or report. Projects bring tasks, people, hours and photos together, and Circles split work into cycles of a few weeks for teams that run in sprints.

How it works

How a task is assigned and followed up

Illustrated with HaShop’s sample project, “Thu Duc opening”.

  1. Project

A project brings tasks, people, hours and photos together.

  2. Assign

Create tasks straight from a chat message; several assignees, subtasks, dependencies.

  3. Seven views

List, Kanban, Gantt, calendar, workload and more.

  4. Reminders

A bot reminds you in team chat before, on and after the deadline, plus an 8 a.m. digest.

  5. Workload

Planned against logged hours for each person.

Everyone knows their work

My tasks, tasks I assigned and tasks I follow; a bot reminds before, on and after deadlines, with a to-do digest at 8 a.m.

Managers see the workload

Workload compares planned and logged hours per person; Gantt and calendar views show where work is piling up.

Work tied to customers

Link tasks to deals, companies, contacts, tickets or approval requests, and create tasks straight from a chat message.

Capabilities

What’s inside Tasks & projects

Seven views

List, Kanban, Gantt, calendar, workload, report and documents; group by status, project, assignee or due date, and save or share views.

Several people, one task

Each assignee has their own status (“N/M done”), a work timer, subtasks with progress and “blocked by / blocking” dependencies.

Recurring tasks

Daily, weekly, monthly or yearly; skip holidays; only create the next one when the previous is done.

Circles — work in cycles

Cycles of one to six weeks for the company, a team or a project; each cycle closes itself and carries unfinished work over.

Projects & stage boards

A Kanban of projects by stage, a project map, and project profiles with tasks, hours, members and photos.

Clear visibility rules

Projects visible to the whole workspace, to project members only or private; share projects and lists with people or departments as admin, editor, contributor or commenter.

7views of the same task list
1–6weeks per Circle cycle, closed automatically
4custom field types per project: text, number, date, choice

Projects & tasks are included in All-in-one, Unlimited and the trial (not in CRM Only).

Getting started

4 steps to get going

  1. 1

    Create a project

Set the name, members and visibility; add task lists and custom statuses if you need them.

  2. 2

    Assign work

Add assignees, due dates, priority and subtasks; switch on recurrence for routine work.

  3. 3

    Find a rhythm

Turn on Circles for teams that work in cycles, or the scheduler for shift-based teams.

  4. 4

    Review progress

Workload, Gantt and the report view show overdue work, completion rate and performance by person.

Call 1900 636 400 or book 30 minutes with the CNV team.

Hours: Monday – Saturday, 8:30 – 17:30 (GMT+7)

Can I drag bars on the Gantt chart?

The Gantt view shows progress from start to due date but doesn’t support dragging yet. Change dates in the task itself; Kanban supports drag-and-drop for status and priority.

Can staff work from their phones?

Yes. The CNV Work app for iOS and Android has tasks, projects and Circles with their views, on-site check-in, site photos and video, and push notifications.

What if a task needs sign-off?

Use “convert to approval” to stamp the task approved or rejected, or link it to a request in the approvals module.
